Dit is een kopmodule voor een modulair I/O-systeem, die failsafe en standaard besturingslogica naast elkaar uitvoert. Het verbindt met een speciaal veiligheidsnetwerk voor veiligheidsgerelateerde netwerkverbindingen en kan daarnaast fungeren als PROFINET-, Modbus/TCP- of EtherNet/IP-node — waardoor één besturing zowel de veiligheidslus als algemene machine-I/O kan afhandelen.
