SISTEMA is de softwaretool van IFA voor het evalueren van het veiligheidsgerelateerde deel van het besturingssysteem (SRP/CS). Wij modelleren uw veiligheidsfuncties in SISTEMA om het behaalde Performance Level te berekenen en te documenteren dat dit voldoet aan wat de risicobeoordeling vereist.
Een veiligheidsfunctie is slechts zo betrouwbaar als het besturingssysteem erachter. Zonder een gedocumenteerde Performance Level-berekening is er geen geverifieerde basis om te beweren dat een veiligheidscircuit, een vergrendeling of een veiligheids-PLC-logica daadwerkelijk de betrouwbaarheid behaalt die de toepassing vereist.
SISTEMA-analyse en rapportage is van toepassing op elk veiligheidsgerelateerd deel van een besturingssysteem (SRP/CS) dat een gedocumenteerd Performance Level nodig heeft.

SISTEMA is used for the safety-related part of the control system, meaning the chain that performs a safety function: the input device such as a light curtain, interlock switch or emergency stop, the logic such as a safety relay or safety PLC, and the output that stops the machine, such as contactors or drives. It applies to any such part that needs a documented PL.
The safety function is modelled as a circuit in SISTEMA, with its components and architecture. The tool then calculates the achieved Performance Level, and the category and architecture are verified. The result is compared with the PL required by the risk assessment.
