Overview
This radar sensor combines radar detection with safe control technology to monitor protection zones in rugged industrial environments where optical sensors struggle. Because radar is insensitive to dust, dirt, rain, bright light, and vibration, it holds up in heavy-industry conditions such as welding, swarf, and continuous vibration. Paired with a configurable small safety controller, it forms a complete zone-monitoring solution, with an evaluation device enabling FSoE (FailSafe over EtherCAT) functionality in accordance with IEC 61508 for safety applications up to SIL 3.
