Overview
The mechanical variant is a safety switch for movable guards: mechanically coded actuators trip the switch the instant a guard is opened, meeting EN ISO 14119's protection-against-defeat requirements. The non-contact variant is the counterpart — a coded safety switch for safety gate monitoring, available in compact, slim, and large designs with multiple actuation directions and switching distances. For the highest safety category, combining the mechanical switch with a second switch from the same family reaches Performance Level e.
