It protects against contact with moving or hazardous parts, including pinch, nip, shear and crushing points, depending on the machine. The guard type and layout are chosen to suit the hazard and how people need to work around the machine.

Yes. The system is configured to your cell or line rather than supplied in fixed catalogue sizes. Panels are engineered around the application, access and safety requirements, with heights from 1000 mm to 2600 mm, widths from 200 mm to 1500 mm, a choice of mesh sizes (20 × 100, 25 × 25, 25 × 75 and 50 × 50 mm), three materials and a powder-coated finish.

Yes. Because the guarding is a separate modular fence configured around the machine cell or line, it does not depend on the machine being new. Prazamana has upgraded the safety of existing equipment such as robotic cells and press machines. For existing, refurbished or relocated machines, Prazamana recommends starting with a site assessment and a machine risk assessment so the guarding addresses the hazards actually present.

Yes. The range includes hinge doors, sliding doors and sliding doors with an upper guide. For machine safety integration, a Mechanical Lock (a guard-locking interlock with a choice of switch brands: Euchner, Leuze, Pilz, Pizzato or Schmersal) can be fitted so the guard and the machine's safety circuit work together. A Smart Pole with E-Stop, reset, stop and start buttons can be placed where a cell needs local controls. The final arrangement depends on your risk assessment and the machine's control system.

Prazamana's guarding is designed against the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, with EN ISO 14120 as the guard fencing standard and ISO 13857 for safety distances. Risk assessment follows ISO 12100:2010. The guarding is listed as third-party tested. The exact requirements for your machine depend on the application, the machine and where it is used, so please ask the team for documentation for your configuration.

Yes. Guarding is often one layer of a wider safety system. Prazamana's Safety Devices range includes sensors, relays, controllers and emergency stops, and its 3D Radar Sensor can detect presence and trigger a slowdown, warning or stop. On past projects, fencing has been combined with light curtains, Safety PLC systems and emergency-stop controls. The right combination is decided by the risk assessment.

Yes. Prazamana handles the full project: requirement analysis, design and engineering, manufacturing, testing and quality check, and installation and support. It can also support the project with machine risk assessment, CE marking and safety training.

Prazamana works in four stages: assess, design, implement and validate. The machine is first assessed to identify and rank its hazards (following ISO 12100:2010). The guard is then designed against those hazards and the relevant standards, manufactured, tested and installed. For example, one robotic cell project started from six identified hazards and ended with a fully interlocked Safety PLC system.
